No, there are no religious requirements for spiritual support. Our hospice chaplain will offer support in a non-denominational and non-judgmental way. Our goal is to help you develop tools that assist with comfort, strength and hope. We recognize that this means different things to different people and respect each person’s views on spirituality.
Yes. Our goal is not to take the place of your spiritual home. Rather, we hope to supplement the support they offer you and make it easier for you to access their services and care. We are happy to work in conjunction with your chaplain and encourage you to find the best path toward spiritual strength and comfort in your own individual way.
Salus Homecare Utah’s hospice team has many different resources available for our clients. Our hospice chaplain will be happy to discuss them with you and make recommendations for reading materials, videos or other such materials. Some other options for finding inner peace include journaling, working with various art mediums or listening to music. We encourage you to explore any or all of these resources and will be happy to help guide you in any way possible.
