Christiane S. Riverside January 16, 2026As a niece who lives in the Mid-West/ Milwaukee. I could not be directly involved in my Aunt’s end of life care. I flew out to California in October 2025 and arranged 24 hour home care for her when she was ready to be released from the hospital. Beacuse of her age (98), suffering pain and being weakened through 4 weeks of hospital stay and rehab. Hospice care was recommended by her medical team. Salus was recommended by her Home care provider. Always the best care and was also on the hospital list of approved providers. After leaving California, I felt like my Aunt was in very good hands and back home where her friends and neighbors could easily visit.
William B. Riverside January 9, 2026Salus was very professional, caring and supporting of both my wife and me. I cannot imagine anyone else providing better care. Thank you Salus from the bottom of my heart.

No. Salus ensures that backup care is available to assist, should your primary nurse or therapist be unavailable. Our goal is always to provide consistent care that works with your schedule and makes it safe and comfortable to recover at home.
Our Riverside County home health nurses are employed by Salus, and we manage all of their payroll and benefits. We will directly bill your insurance company for services provided, and there is no reason you should ever be asked to make direct payment to any of our employees.
Salus Homecare often meets with patients and their family members in the hospital, prior to discharge, to arrange services. In this situation, care can begin very soon after you return home to ensure your safety and comfort.
