Hospice’s physical support helps patients to more effectively manage pain, discomfort and symptoms that typically accompany life-limiting diagnoses. While hospice’s physical care is never designed to provide a cure, it does allow the majority of patients to remain more independent and improve their quality of life.
Physical support is monitored by Salus Homecare’s hospice medical director and a registered nurse to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients. Additionally, we work closely with our patient’s medical providers, ensuring they receive regular updates and information that helps to improve the hospice care experience.
Ronald O. Riverside County March 3, 2025My Father’s Home Health RN named Leiko is a treasure to our family. From the 1st visit, she had been proactive, experienced, compassionate, kind and patient. She has brought our family, and especially my father, such comfort and support. We would not have been able to handle this difficult journey without her. We are so blessed and grateful to have her in our lives. The physical therapist is also so important to us. He has gently motivated my dad in his exercises and has done so much to help him maintain his mobility, strength, and some continued independence. Thank you all.
