Hospice’s physical support helps patients to more effectively manage pain, discomfort and symptoms that typically accompany life-limiting diagnoses. While hospice’s physical care is never designed to provide a cure, it does allow the majority of patients to remain more independent and improve their quality of life.

Physical support is monitored by Salus Homecare’s hospice medical director and a registered nurse to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients. Additionally, we work closely with our patient’s medical providers, ensuring they receive regular updates and information that helps to improve the hospice care experience.

I continue to recommend Hospice care to anyone questioning if it is good. It made the passing of my husband so much easier, It was natural, at home and loving. He watched the hummingbirds out the window and knew he was on his way home to Jesus. So so much better than in a sterile hospital. A big thank you to all who helped case for both of us.

Everyone we dealt with from Salus was amazing. This was such a difficult time for our family, but all of mom’s hospice team became like family to us, and they were all a Godsend! I couldn’t have cared for her without them. We couldn’t have felt more blessed with moms primary nurse. The LVN’s were awesome, one of the LVN’s was with us as mom was passing. Her kindness and compassion as well as the way she kept us informed about what was happening was so helpful. our bath aid was a great and she was so kind to mom. Our entire family is so grateful for all that the Salus team did for us.
