Chronic health conditions that are not properly managed can result in further physical and mental health decline and even death. Enlisting the help of Salus Homecare of Los Angeles County’s home health nurses and therapists often helps individuals to avoid setbacks and declines and effectively manage their symptoms to avoid these concerns and realize an improved prognosis.
Clark B. Los Angeles June 2, 2026Our family used the Salus Company for 6 years of wonderful caregivers in my mother’s home. When she needed more care, they found us a lovely board and care home with a great owner and 3 nice caregivers. As my mother’ s health declined, Salus found us a great doctor and we initiated the hospice process. The Salus Hospice team was amazing! I met with the nurse, Maria Rienzo, at every visit. She was informative, compassionate, and communicated extremely well to my mother”s 3 caregivers and to the doctor. She made sure my mother was comfortable and ordered anything she needed. My mother and our family also received great emotional support from the social worker, Mary Hackman, Mary was a rock star!
Andy S. Los Angeles May 27, 2026Great care, especially the last 5 days.

Salus Homecare of Los Angeles never charges a cancellation fee or requires you to sign a contract. If you or your doctor no longer think our services are needed or the best choice, simply notify us to cancel them. You will only be charged for the services you use up to the termination date.
Salus Homecare of Los Angeles works hard to ensure that care is consistent, but sometimes it is necessary to have more than one nurse or therapist in your home. This may be due to your scheduling requests, because each has a different area of expertise, or it could be because a backup nurse or therapist is needed due to a primary nurse’s vacation or illness. Regardless, we will always ensure that your health needs are met and that you are completely comfortable with the professionals entering your home.
The care plan is a document that is developed during the intake process. It addresses your specific needs, goals and preferences and provides an outline for our Orange, Ventura and Los Angeles County nurses and therapists to follow when they are providing you with care. The care plan is developed collaboratively with input from you, your doctor and a care manager, and it can always be modified if your needs change with time.
