Do I pay home health workers after each shift?
No. Salus Homecare of Los Angeles County will first file with your insurance company, Medicare, Medi-Cal or the VA, as appropriate. If you are a self-pay client, our office will bill you. We protect your safety and ensure accuracy by mandating that our nurses and therapists never ask clients for payment directly.
If my home health nurse gets sick, am I ever left without care?
No. Salus Homecare of Los Angeles closely monitors our home health nurses and therapists schedules to ensure coverage is always provided. When necessary, we will provide a backup nurse or therapist. This can even be accomplished last minute, if necessary, with the help of our care managers who remain on call 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
