I am Impressed with the organization of the home care service. I did not realize at first that working on focus, concentration, problem solving, memory, and word retrieval with the speech therapist had to do with aphasia with which I had been admitted to Hoag. I thought I would be working on word retrieval and diction. I loved the games on the Lumosity app which covered all of these areas. They were challenging. I bought the Apple app and will continue to work to improve in these areas of my intellect. Also a bonus is that my grandkids love playing the games on this app.

I use the home care givers to help my husband take and shower, do his exercises and walk him with his walker on our cul-de-sac or in the back patio. In the beginning there was an issue with them arriving on time. I often schedule his care on days that I may have a meeting. My spouse enjoys talking to them. The staff does a good job of scheduling.
