Initiating in home therapeutic care is one of the most effective ways to speed recovery or return an individual to their previous level of independence. Therapy provides individuals with hope by giving them the tools and training they need to regain strength, increase flexibility and learn new coping skills to help them recover from speech delays or setbacks in functioning.

How long will therapy last?
There is no specific amount of time or number of therapy visits that Salus Homecare of San Fernando Valley offers to every client. The length of service is based on your goals and how quickly you accomplish them as well as the recommendations made by your doctor.
Will a therapist visit me seven days a week?
Very rarely do clients need therapeutic care seven days a week, for an extended period of time. In many cases, you will begin with a greater number of visits weekly when therapy is initiated, and those visits will decrease as you see improvement and move closer to reaching your goals.
Can I request therapy without seeing a doctor?’
While therapy can be ordered without a doctor’s prescription, it is always self pay in that situation. Most clients find that their insurance will cover therapy only if they receive medical orders indicating it is necessary, so there is often a benefit to visiting with your doctor before requesting care.
