This was my second time using Salus Homecare. Special thanks and recognition should be given to our physical therapist.. On my last day of treatment, she recognized the early signs of a possible infection starting in my knee. I was able to see my doctor who immediately prescribed antibiotics. I want to particularly thank you for sending our Physical Therapist to do my mother's PT. She has regained so much strength and is now using her walker with confidence. I never thought she would be able to do the amount of walking she is now. My mom looked forward to his visits not only because of the PT he provided but because of his humor and patience. My mother has been in the care of Salus Homecare for 3 years. We have been so fortunate to have this company in our life as they have been wonderful! Starting with our case manager, she is always there at any moment to help us with anything that comes up. She is an amazing woman in how she handles such difficult situations. The staffing supervisor is so understanding when things come up with caretakers or my mother's situations. He is always there for us and handles everything so professional. Over the past 3 months we needed Salus Home Health to come in and once again they were incredible in seeing and understanding my mother's needs, she had to have a very serious melanoma surgery (which became infected). Because of this she required in home nursing daily. In the beginning we had two wonderful nurses that rotated coming to my mother's home to take care of a very serious wound. Under their professional guidance and also working with our surgeon they were successful in healing the wound. They saved her life! They were so amazing in the way they approached my mother, always so gentle and very informative with his wisdom on wound care. We truly miss them! They were just so lovely and very gentle with my mother also. They were such a great team and we will be forever grateful for their incredible support! We feel very blessed that we found Salus many years ago...I know they will always be there for us!
