Joseph S. April 6, 2016I work with Salus in San Diego. When my dad was being sent home on hospice, I called Salus for the contact information for the office in the area my dad lived in. Within minutes I had a call from a Salus case manager. She heard what our needs were and had services in place by the time my dad made it home. My step-mother was so pleased with the caregivers. There was one she had some concerns about and when I called our case manager, both she and the staffing manager (I can't recall her name) responded immediately. They made themselves available at all times. I will say there was nothing the caregiver did wrong and suspected it was my step-mother not communicating what her expectations were. The next day when the same caregiver went back and I told my step-mother to tell the caregiver what she needed, this caregiver exceeded expectations. When there were concerns about my sister coming down, the social worker and on-call social worker made themselves available and were there to help with my sisters visit. I can't say enough about how professional, supportive, attentive, and caring the staff of Salus are.

I needed overnight care for him. I called Salus one morning and an RN and LVN were at my house that night! Their professionalism and kindness were exceptional. We had an LVN at our house for overnight care for approximately 6 weeks. They were ALWAYS on time which meant so much to me after a long day of caretaking on my own.
