Your Executive Director was very easy to work with, explained things very well. The office manager did an outstanding job of keeping me informed of staff changes, making appointments for my mom and in giving me feedback on how my mom was doing. Can't thank her enough. The case manager very good about taking my mom to her Dr. Appointments and lifting her spirits. The caregivers were great. They were really there for my mom. At first my mom did not appreciate all they were doing for her, but grew to like them and that was really good to see. It made it better for my mom. They gave me good feedback on how my mom was doing good or bad. I really felt I could trust them. They could get my mom to do things she needed to do and they took her out on rides, lunch and her hair appointments. They are very positive people and were very good at changing subjects to help steer my mom toward good things. They were very good at keeping me informed and in catching problems my mom might be having, including needing to see her Doctor for a couple of things. I felt I could trust these people to take good care of my mom. Overall I was very pleased with the team.

Salus was especially good in smoothing the transition from skilled nursing in a facility to Homecare. They are very accommodating to changes to schedule and to changes to specific needs. I highly recommend Salus.

Salus provided in home care for my father for 26 months. His regular caregivers were excellent. They engaged him and provided safe transfer and hygiene care for him. Staff was flexible in their hours when the need arose to adjust around the regular schedule. They were a great comfort to my mother, who was the primary caregiver. If I was again in need of in home care services, I would definitely contact Salus. Thank you for making the last years of my father's life livable. He wanted to be in his own home, and your staff and service made that possible.

I thought your clinical staff were very respectful and caring. They were friendly and very professional. I was extremely satisfied with my Salus Home Care experience. I was concerned about leaving my mother home alone, but I needed work to pay the bills. When I searched for possible home care agencies, Salus was a name that came up in recommendations again and again. When I contacted Salus, my case worker, came to the hospital in which my mother was staying. She was extremely helpful and understanding of my mother’s needs. She was able to setup home care for my mother on short notice, and coordinated with the hospital to start the service on the day my mother was released. The home care staff was excellent, and my mother felt comfortable and safe in their care. I was especially impressed with their skill and patience in dealing with my now bed-bound (and irritable) mother. When my mother passed away, the staff member on duty, stayed with me until the hospice nurse arrived. I will always be grateful for her comforting presence. All in all, my experience with Salus Home Care was excellent, and I would happily recommend them for anyone’s home care needs.
