Cognitive decline or physical limitations due to chronic conditions are the primary reason why a senior needs help with IADLs. This is also a primary cause why some move to a facility before they are ready. Having the right support makes a difference.

Salus Homecare offers one on one assistance with a variety of essential tasks. Our professional caregivers will work with you and encourage you to maintain your personal highest level of independence while providing you with reliable assistance with tasks when you need help.

The care needed occurred practically overnight but Salus was able to provide 24/7 staffing on the day that I contacted them. Well done.

The case manager was especially friendly, professional and helpful.

Every person from your intake department all the way to the clinical team were very professional. At my first visit the nurse was very punctual and right on time extremely knowledgeable, and was able to teach my husband and my son how to do the IV antibiotics. The nurses that followed came one time when it was time to do my lab draws however a patient earlier ended up needing to use the supplies that she needed. So we pushed that visit to the following day and that is when another nurse took over for the rest of the visit. She was very knowledgeable and very punctual and on time. She was very confident and it showed. I absolutely will refer others to Salus.

Instrumental ADLs (IADLs) FAQ's

If you don’t see your question, please give us a call: (888) 725-8742

Yes, we have many caregivers that are happy to drive you in their own car. You will be billed for mileage if a caregiver drives their own vehicle. If you prefer, and with the appropriate clearance, a caregiver is also able to drive your car. Rest assured that whether a caregiver is driving their car or yours, Salus Homecare has verified their insurance and reviewed their driving history with the DMV.

With instruction, our caregivers will adapt meal preparation to meet your doctor’s recommendations and your taste preferences. This is one of the biggest advantages of having individualized meals prepared in your home versus using a meal delivery service.

All Salus Homecare caregivers are required to maintain their own residence and will only be in your home during working hours.
