Adult Protective Services: Adult Protective Services (APS) are directed at preventing or remedying neglect, abuse or exploitation of adults who are unable to protect their own interests because of age or disability.

Alzheimer’s Association: Provides Free education and support for people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias and their caregivers

Cal Fresh Food Assistance: CalFresh is California’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), designed to provide monthly food benefits to low-income individuals and families to help them buy nutritious food. It is a federal program operated locally, often called “food stamps,” and benefits are distributed via an electronic benefits transfer (EBT) card.

Community & Senior Centers: A community or senior center is a local space where people—especially older adults—can socialize, join activities, and access wellness and support services.

Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP): HICAP (the Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) provides free and objective information and counseling about Medicare.

Medi-Cal: Medi-Cal is California’s Medicaid public health insurance program.  Medi-Cal provides free or low-cost medical services for children and adults with limited income (and limited resources for some Medi-Cal programs).  It is supported by federal and state taxes

Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels America supports a nationwide network of local providers helping seniors remain healthy, connected and living at home.

Placement: Care options based on individual needs and preferences to ensure the quality of life for your loved one.
