Salus Homecare San Diego’s home health is nationally accredited by the Joint Commission for quality of care. This means that our employees are held to the highest expectations, and we constantly monitor and revise our services to support the safety, health and recovery process for our clients. Our agency is one of only a select few deserving of this accreditation, and that is why we receive a substantial number of referrals from many of San Diego’s top healthcare professionals.
As part of Salus Homecare of San Diego’s commitment to excellence, we treat each client as an individual throughout the recovery process. Our home health nurses listen to your needs, respond to your concerns and constantly monitor your care plan in an effort to provide the highest quality care available anywhere.

Everyone at Salus was extremely responsive and eager to help and that made our experience so much better during a difficult time.

Once again, our case manager was the beautiful, compassionate voice of wisdom and guidance. Her experience in the field helped us so much. Our caregiver, who was one of the caregivers was so attentive to my mother-in-law and listened to every word, no matter how confusing it was at the time. She has such a caring heart. Thank you for all of your help in a crisis once again!

No. Our San Diego home health clients are always a priority, and we do all we can to ensure that their needs are met. If a home health nurse calls out or is otherwise unavailable to work a scheduled shift, our Care Managers schedule backup care. For any last minute changes, our Care Managers remain on call 24-hours a day and seven days a week to ensure that our clients needs are always met.
No. Salus Homecare of San Diego’s home health clients can expect to receive bills directly from our company. When appropriate, we can also file with your insurance company or Medicare. This is for your safety and it also helps to ensure you are billed accurately. If you are ever asked to make payment directly to a nurse or therapist, please notify your Care Manager immediately.
Salus Homecare of San Diego often meets with clients at the hospital to assist in developing an effective recovery care plan. Part of this process always involves coordinating with the client’s physician and discharge planner to ensure continuity of care. Following this important step, home health is made available to the client as soon as they are ready to be discharged.
