No. Our San Diego home health clients are always a priority, and we do all we can to ensure that their needs are met. If a home health nurse calls out or is otherwise unavailable to work a scheduled shift, our Care Managers schedule backup care. For any last minute changes, our Care Managers remain on call 24-hours a day and seven days a week to ensure that our clients needs are always met.
No. Salus Homecare of San Diego’s home health clients can expect to receive bills directly from our company. When appropriate, we can also file with your insurance company or Medicare. This is for your safety and it also helps to ensure you are billed accurately. If you are ever asked to make payment directly to a nurse or therapist, please notify your Care Manager immediately.
Salus Homecare of San Diego often meets with clients at the hospital to assist in developing an effective recovery care plan. Part of this process always involves coordinating with the client’s physician and discharge planner to ensure continuity of care. Following this important step, home health is made available to the client as soon as they are ready to be discharged.
