PT, SLP and OT often speed recovery and support the individual’s goal of remaining independent. They help individuals who suffer from Parkinson’s, brain injuries, bulging discs or other injuries and conditions to regain mobility, safely complete many activities of daily living and improve swallowing, speech or breathing.

Salus Homecare San Diego’s in home therapeutic programs provide effective and convenient therapy in the home environment. Our services are offered during convenient hours that do not interrupt the client’s regular routine. Physical, occupational and speech therapy are provided on a one on one basis, by knowledgeable professionals and without the need to schedule appointments or travel to a facility for care.

My physical therapist I had 4 weeks after my knee replacement surgery was more than wonderful! She was never late so I always knew when to expect her. Physical therapy is available without a doctor’s order, but Medicare and many insurance plans will not provide coverage unless therapeutic services are prescribed by a physician. It is always best to contact your coverage provider in order to understand the specifics of your policy.
