The caregivers were respectful of being in my Mom's home and respectful of her privacy, they could not have been more kind and caring of my Dad. They were conscious of cleanliness, and most of all of not causing him more pain while caring for him and moving him. The night staff was well versed in death and took the time to explain what we could expect in my Dad's last days and hours. Our nighttime caregivers became like family, they made Dad's passing much more palatable, peaceful and serene - we were blessed to have them each night. Thank you Salus for providing the best end of life care I can imagine for my Dad. They were respectful of being in my Mom's home and respectful of her privacy, they could not have been more kind and caring of my Dad. I was under a lot of stress at the time and felt confused when I received your bills asking me to pay, because I knew that you knew that our long term care insurance would pay the bills. But your office clarified that issue for me to my satisfaction, so the problem was easily resoved. Overall, I will give Salus Homecare an "A" grade.

But my case worker and at least one off the care givers, provided me with outstanding communication for which I am extremely grateful.

The office manager did an outstanding job of keeping me informed of staff changes, making appointments for my mom and in giving me feedback on how my mom was doing. Can't thank her enough. The case manager very good about taking my mom to her Dr. Appointments and lifting her spirits. The caregivers were great. They were really there for my mom. At first my mom did not appreciate all they were doing for her, but grew to like them and that was really good to see. It made it better for my mom. They gave me good feedback on how my mom was doing good or bad. I really felt I could trust them. They could get my mom to do things she needed to do and they took her out on rides, lunch and her hair appointments. They are very positive people and were very good at changing subjects to help steer my mom toward good things. They were very good at keeping me informed and in catching problems my mom might be having, including needing to see her Doctor for a couple of things. I felt I could trust these people to take good care of my mom. Overall I was very pleased with the team.
